Synopsis
Serving as a prequel to the original 2000 FLCL series, the story takes place in a dreary, rundown seaside city where the adult population has abandoned all hope for the future. The local youth, including a listless teenager named Shinpachi who works at his father's sushi shop, have simply accepted this cycle of economic decline and poverty as normal. This mundane status quo is completely shattered when Haruko Haruhara arrives in town, wreaking absolute havoc as she plays local yakuza factions and a corrupt mayor against one another in her ongoing quest to sabotage Medical Mechanica and track down Atomsk.
