Weave operates as a free bookmarking tool and decentralized community network. We do not host, stream, or store any copyrighted media files (including anime, manga, light novels, or webtoons) on our servers.
The Weave catalog is built as an interactive index. It consists entirely of metadata compiled by our platform and community—such as titles, synopses, genres, tags, and public cover art—alongside community-sourced referral links directing users to third-party platforms where content is legally hosted. Weave is strictly a tracking and discovery utility; absolutely nothing on the platform is intended to facilitate access to unauthorized copies of copyrighted material.
#### Submitting a Takedown Notice
If you believe that content appearing on Weave (for example, a specific cover image, a synopsis excerpt, or a community-submitted link) infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512).
To be effective and allow us to take prompt action, your notice must include the following:
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- Identification of the Material: Identification of the specific material you claim is infringing, with enough detail (such as the exact URL on Weave) so that we can locate it.
- Contact Information: Your current address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good-Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

#### Counter-Notice Procedure
If material you submitted to the community was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). Your counter-notice must include:
- Your legal name, address, and telephone number.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district.
#### Repeat Infringers
Weave respects the intellectual property rights of creators. Accounts found to be repeat infringers of others' copyrights will have their contribution privileges suspended or permanently terminated to protect the integrity of the network.
