Claiming bounties: tiers, one claim per tier, and what Platinum requires

How catalog bounties pay out, and why some entries leave your Potential list.

What bounties are

Bounties reward you with XP for improving the Weave catalog. When you track a title Weave does not know much about, the details you contribute - cover art, correct titles, counts, metadata - can be claimed as a bounty.

Tiers

Bounties pay out in tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Higher tiers require a more complete contribution. Each tier of a given catalog entry can only be claimed ONCE, by whoever gets there first - if someone else has already claimed Gold on an entry, your matching contribution can no longer claim Gold there.

The Bounties tab

The extension's Bounties tab shows two lists:

  • Potential: entries in your library with tier headroom left. An entry drops off this list when someone (including you) claims Platinum on it, or when the catalog already holds a claim at or above the tier your local data could reach.
  • Pending: contributions you have submitted that are still waiting for moderation. You can clear individual pending rows or all of them - clearing only withdraws YOUR pending submissions, never anything already approved.

What Platinum requires

Platinum is the completeness tier. It requires the full metadata set including a rating, and it is checked against the catalog's live state at claim time. If your claim reports Platinum but the catalog shows it claimed, the entry is settled - move on to the next one.
