Getting started with the Weave extension

Install the extension, sign in, and record your first tracked title.

What the extension does

The Weave extension watches the sites you already read and watch on, and records your progress automatically. Every episode or chapter you finish becomes a tracking entry tied to your Weave account, feeds your dashboard stats, and earns XP.

Install and sign in

  1. Install the Weave extension from your browser's extension store, or load the build your invite provided.
  2. Click the Weave icon in your browser toolbar to open the popup.
  3. Sign in with the same email you use on the website. The extension and the website share one account, so anything tracked in one shows up in the other.

Your first tracked title

  1. Open any supported site and start an episode or chapter.
  2. The extension detects the title and progress from the page and queues a tracking update.
  3. Open the popup to confirm the entry landed in your library. You can adjust the title, type, or progress from the entry's quick edit if a site reported something odd.

Where your data shows up

  • Your dashboard on the website shows lifetime watching and reading stats, XP history, and your ratings.
  • The Repository links every tracked title to its catalog page.
  • Milestone surveys occasionally ask whether you would recommend a title you are deep into - answering earns XP.

If a site is not detected at all, it may not be whitelisted yet. See the In-Page Track Drawer guide for how to whitelist your own sites.
