Sync your extension and website
Sign in on both the Weave extension and weavenetwork.io, then press Sync — here is exactly how.
Why sync matters
Weave tracks your library locally in the browser extension. Nothing you add, rate, or push shows up on weavenetwork.io — and nothing earns XP or bounty review — until you sync. Syncing is also how a title you push from the extension actually reaches our moderation queue.
Step 1 — Sign in on the website
Go to weavenetwork.io and sign in (or create an account) from the top-right corner. This is the SAME account the extension will use.
Step 2 — Sign in inside the extension
Open the Weave extension popup and sign in with the same account from Step 1. If you are signed into the website but NOT the extension (or vice versa), syncing will not work — both sides need an active session.
Step 3 — Press Sync
Inside the extension, open Settings and press Sync. This pushes your local library to weavenetwork.io: titles that already exist in the catalog get linked to your tracking, and new or improved titles are queued for moderator review — which is what unlocks contribution bounties.
When to sync again
Sync again any time you add a title, finish filling in a bounty listing, or after the milestone survey sends you to claim a bounty on a title that was not yet in the catalog — pressing Push on that listing still requires a normal Sync afterward to send it to review.
Still stuck?
If Sync reports an error, double check you are signed in on BOTH the extension and the website with the same account, then try again.
