Using the In-Page Track Drawer and whitelisting your own sites
Track from any site with the drawer, and add sites Weave does not know yet.
The In-Page Track Drawer
On supported sites, Weave injects a small drawer directly into the page so you can track without opening the popup. The drawer reads the title and chapter or episode from the page and offers a one-click track action.
Whitelisting a site yourself
Weave ships with a curated list of supported sites, but you can add your own:
- Open the site you want to track on.
- Open the extension popup and choose the whitelist action for the current site.
- Your browser will ask you to grant the extension permission for that domain - this is required for the drawer and tracker to load there. Accept it.
- The drawer and tracking scripts activate on that site immediately, no reload of the extension needed.
Sites you whitelist locally are yours alone. Each local whitelist also files an anonymous suggestion to the Weave team, so popular community sites graduate into the curated global whitelist over time.
When parsing looks wrong
Whitelisted-by-you sites use generic parsing rules, so a site with unusual page titles can misreport chapters. Use the entry's quick edit in the popup to correct anything, and report persistent problems - parse fixes ship server-side without waiting for an extension update.
